Milk Inspiration for All Its Worth

You can’t plan inspiration.

But sometimes it just happens.

And when it does, I strongly recommend you milk it for all its worth.

When you’re inspired, it’s almost as if you’re under a magical spell that makes creative work practically effortless. So, when inspiration strikes, don’t let anything or anyone break that spell!

Doesn’t matter if it’s dinner time… or your phone is ringing… or your spouse wants to get your input on plans for the weekend… just tune it all out and keep on burning that fuel called inspiration until it’s all used up.

And if you’re worried about offending a friend or family member when you give them the cold shoulder, just say, “Hold on! I’m in the zone!” Usually they’ll cut you some slack, especially if they understand the nature of creative work.
