Patience and Persistence
I’ve learned that only a small percentage of people have the patience or persistence necessary to succeed.
- Many people start, but few continue.
- They give up too early.
- They don’t see things through to the end.
Perfect example…
One of my clients has more than 4,000 affiliates in his database. After a thorough analysis, he discovered that only 216 of his affiliates had referred at least one sale in the last 12 months.
In other words, only 5% of his affiliates had the patience and persistence to refer just one sale. Fewer still had the patience and persistence required to refer multiple sales.
If you truly believe in your idea — but aren’t getting traction as quickly as you’d like — then you need to keep pressing forward.
Keep doing what’s required to make things happen.
Keep stretching for the finish line.
Don’t give up.
You could be just a few days away from the breakthrough you’ve been seeking.
As I look back on my freelance copywriting career, I can confidently say that patience and persistence are two qualities that have been vital to my success.
In fact, patience and persistence have been vital to nearly every success I’ve had.
Without them, I’d still be working a 9-5 and plotting how to escape.
