Don’t Beat Yourself Up – Do This Instead
Yesterday, I published Copywriting Mistake #11.
At least four more to go, followed by a wrap-up post.
But I decided to take a break today because I just received some unsolicited feedback from a client who hired me to do a copywriting critique for him.
He writes:
“I was beating myself up… over this copy writing problem!”
I decided to take Ryan up for his Copy Critique of my home page. I think being too close to my industry and having difficulty standing back for a clear view was messing me up. I had done all the research on my market and wrote tons of copy, but what I really needed was a professional that could look at my copy from a clear advantage point. Ryan re-wrote my copy with decisive and clear thoughts that I was unable to do. I’m very good at what I do but a man (woman) has to know their limitations. Writing copy is not my forte and as hard as I tried Ryan really came thru. My Sincerest Thanks, Ryan!

In addition to critiquing Paul’s new website copy (not on his site yet – he’s launching a new site), I gave him feedback on domain names and a free report he’ll be giving away.
Not bad for $495.
I usually spend 3-4 hours on each copywriting critique.
I tell you what I think you should change at each point in your letter.
I provide new headlines to test… rewrite sections of copy… and even answer specific questions you have.
If you’re tired of beating yourself up… and you’d like to book me for a critique (like Paul did)… you can do so here: Book a Copywriting Critique
By the way…
I just started offering a NEW, more affordable critique service. I’m calling it the “Quick Crit.” This is a faster scaled-down critique for people looking for a few important tweaks or ideas to strengthen their sales letter.
I’ve added details about the Quick Crit option to my copywriting critique page. To jump straight to the Quick Crit details, click here.
